This is really well done. Your stated influences are very obvious in the work, but it is definitely its own thing. Very interested in seeing if you expand this, where it goes. I love the idea of really pumping some of these spells and finding challenges that are commensurate with the power earned.
Either way, I just wanted to say I'm really impressed and I think you've done a great job making Noita wands work in a Rift-Wizard-like setting.
Amazed to see how much you did in the allowed time, game looks great and is very interesting as well. Struggled to find bugs- except if you count slicing your sword at the water tiles when you try and walk on them.
Thanks! That is good to hear. There certainly are some bugs that I want to fix for the post-jam release, such as bats being affected by acid puddles (they should just fly over them).
