Goal

Make it through all 10 burning houses and save the most pets to graduate from fire academy

Story

You are a recent graduate of Waterwarks School for Magically Talented Youth.

With your new water-based magic, you applied to become a firefighter specializing in rescuing pets.

Not wanting to wait any longer, you dive into the nearest rift towards a burning building...

Tips
* Scrolls are randomized each playthrough, don't forget to use them in your inventory
* Try to use time as efficiently as possible
* Each pet behaves differently
* Fire spreads when the fire timer reaches zero
* You can bash through walls, but be careful as this damages the house
* Find a source of water to replenish spells! The only source of water in a burning house is the toilet
* There are three spell points to collect on each level
* Health is a scarce resource but can be recovered with the correct scroll
* You can move into fire to melee-attack it
* Small fires can't hurt you until they grow

Changelog

When I tried to run the game, all that happened was the following error message was printed on a plain white background:

Crash | Uncaught ReferenceError: Phaser is not defined

I'm guessing the game requires the Phaser engine's runtime to run, which users who've never worked with that engine are unlikely to have installed.

Gameplay video of your game.

Very well done, a favorite among the 15+ 7drls I've tried so far this year. I love how you translated the Rift Wizard concept into this much more lighthearted theme :D. I did a video of my experience with it as well - timestamped link.

This is really cute and delightful. I love it.

Thank you!
